Last year, I wrote a blog titled Do you "eat your own dog food?" which is about using the very product your company creates! Who better to QA than your own people! Well, today I read about Migeul Caballero's fashion company and the way this president uniquely ensures his new hires COMPLETELY understand the product they are producing.

If you're just too busy "using your product," skip to 3m where the talk starts about this companies initiation. A very UNIQUE initiation you would probably say?! And if you're thinking "this guy's too good for his own test?" He admits to having been "tested" twice! Around the 7m point, the reporter starts the process. Very interestingly, Miguel Caballero says he'll count to three and boom. During the real test, he counts, UNO, DOS, BOOM!!!!!................Tres. DOH! Talk about the fringe/border cases! Hey BC, there's the "kicker" for ya?! LOL
Now, this is NOT a discussion about personal beliefs about ammunitions in ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM! I think police/army need them for protection/intimidation/etc, but that's as far as I'm going to go about admitting anything about my personal beliefs. This IS however a blog about "dog fooding your own product" and I think you have to have COMPLETE confidence in your product to do what Miguel Caballero does to his own people.
Now that you know there are people out there who actually dog food their own products to the extreme, it's time to go grab a coffee and get coding!
