Bank of Montreal (BMO)Yesterday I got an email from Dell with a few advertisements.  Nothing new.  I get them every few days.  So what's the deal then?

Well, this one was a bit different.  First it was the first time I've seen Dell partner with a bank, namely the Bank of Montreal (BMO), and second, it was for a free netbook.  WOW!  That's a great deal, but wait a sec.......what's the catch.  Yup, there was the link, let's check it out!

BMO advertisement for a Dell Netbook (Click on the link for a larger view.)

If you don't believe me, check out the actual advertisement link from BMO (http://www.bmoinvestorline.com/mobile/).

What's the big deal?  Well, IMHO, if you can afford to open up a NON-Registered account with 75Gs, you DON'T need a coupon for any Dell product!  And likewise, if you have $150,000 JUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUST hanging around the house, my guess is you DON'T need any help or incentive to buy a $299 Netbook from Dell!

Maybe I'm a bit jaded, but I thought this was a bit too much and had to blog about.  If you agree or disagree with me, please leave a comment.  If you agree, maybe Dell and BMO might, juuuuuust might give us an incentive the average Joe could ACTUALLY USE!!!!!

Now that's off my chest, it's time to grab a coffee and get coding!
