Confused by the title? Read on about a commercial I saw tonight from Swiffer.
Tonight while watching TV, I saw the funniest thing! A feather duster using a VIC-20 on the internet with a webcam! Look carefully at 0:14s into the vid, you'll see the unmistakable VIC-20 keyboard (with the brown function keys on the right hand side). Since when did the VIC-20 get a TCP/IP stack to get onto the internet? If you think I'm kidding, check out the link for yourself.

I'm not sure what's more, uh, "funny?" The fact they have a VIC-20 in the commercial or that it took me about, oh 0.456s to recognize it was a VIC-20?! DOH! LOL
Now stop looking at vids on YouTube, go grab a coffee and get coding! :>
PS I used to own a VIC-20! :> My first computer. :>

I just saw this commercial and also noticed the VIC-20. I Googled to see if anyone else had noticed it and found your article. My first computer was also a VIC-20.

HAHA! Too cool! :> I thought this blog posting would get more action but I guess not a lot of people remember the VIC-20. Shame, not that it was powerful machine but cheap enough to introduce computers to the home user. Thanks for the comment! :> Have a good long weekend! :>
