WP7Microsoft is about to make some BIG announcements next week at MIX 2010 with regards to WP7.  What is their biggest challenge?

WP7Next week Microsoft is going to make some BIG annoucements at MIX 2010 in Vegas (MAN I wish I could be there!).  But let's put all the rhetoric asside, what is Microsoft BIGGEST challenge with WP7?

Here it is!  Point blank.  Microsoft needs to make their WP7 phones/apps/OS/marketplace/dev tools COOL again!!!!

cnet had one article today talking just this idea about the iPhone.

iPhone emotional attachments

In just two short years, Apple's done JUST that.  Apple's made their iPhone/iPod Touch devices cool, almost sexy.  MS has to make their platform COOL!

If you're old enough to remember when Windows 3.0 was cool, then you probably remember the vids of Bill Gates pushing up his glasses with his singature "COOL!"  MS needs to get that emotional attachment, almost religious beliefs for their devices again!  They have to!

Now that I'm asking for the moon! LOL  It's time to grab a coffee and get coding!
