Today I received an email from Apple asking me if I would take a survey about my recent iPod Touch purchase. SURE! I'll take your survey, read on for my thoughts (oh how I DO hope those Apple people read this!)
Today I got an email asking me about my recent Apply iPod Touch purchase. OOOOOOO I was sooooo giddy! I thought OH MAN these guys just have NO CLUE how I really felt. After all, I returned my Touch, I never told Apple, Best Buy are the only one's who really know anything. How can I blame Apple, they never asked right? So how would they know? UNTIL NOW!
The email looks something like this, almost Apple-like but not really, it screams of some third party creation who will eventually feed the results to Apple once the bill gets paid.

After I clicked on the Take the Survey link, I assumed, how long can this be eh? I'll just tell them about the Calendaring issues I had and that'll be it. WELL! After the 20th or so question, this exercise was starting to pi$$ me off an waste my time. The questions were VERY skewed to the "please tell us just how happy you are with our wonderfully designed product?" Really, no kidding, there was one question where there were like 7/8/9 answers you had to rank 1 to 7 and they were all that "how do you like our great design", "how do you like our great software?" I didn't mind that question, no, it was the other 30 that wasted my time!
Around 2/3rds of the way through I got to my question "tell us how you really feel" kind of question. AWESOME! I litterally put in there "Why don't you just read my blogs" and I proceeded to put links to my five posts "discussing my issues."
Now, do I have any FALSE DILUSIONS Apple is going to pay ANY attention to my blogs/survey results? HA HA HA Are you kidding me? About as much chance of Steve Ballmer responding to my email! Uh, hhhhmmmmm now's probably not a good time to say he actually DID reply, and ya, it was him personally. Anyways, if you are an Apple person, great! You NOW have an opportunity to change your product for the better for the NEXT person who purchases your product. Me? Sorry, "I'm evaluating other technologies at the moment."

Now that the survey's FINALLY done, it's time to grab a coffee and get coding!
