Visual Studio Tips'n'TricksTip'n'Trick: Creating a class out of thin air, POOF!

Shortcut: SHIFT+ALT+C

Da "Peter" version (aka, ya, da verbose one)

Ever want to just whip it out?  Uh, a class of course!  You just want to create one then and there?  Don't want to be bothered with a lot of mousing around?  Using this short cut, you'll see the VS Add New Item dialog with the C# Class automagically selected AND the cursor selectiong point ready for you  to start typing out the class name.  OH!!!!!!!!  And BIG tip, ditch the inclination to type out the ".cs"   Ya, I mean it, try it out, it's quite cool!  You just focus on the code and VS will take care of the other mundane administrivia cra.....uh...stuff!

New Class dialog

Now that you know how to whip out class like there's no tomorrow, it's time to grab a coffee and get coding!
