Visual SourceSafeThis spring, Microsoft is retiring Visual SourceSafe, are you ready for it's replacement?  Check this out to get get a FREE day of training!

Visual SourceSafeThis spring Microsoft is going to retire Visual SourceSafe (YAAAAHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!).  Ok, ok, VSS was good in it's time, TEN YEARS AGO!  And even then, it was a stretch.  In the last few years, some companies have been using it, cause, well, it's cheap and Team Foundation Server was a bit of a beast to configure and use.  OH, and they didn't want to use something like SVN.  Well, if you're STILL using VSS come this spring, you BETTER be looking at an exit strategy ASAP!

DevTeach is one partner you can count on to help you you!!!!!  They are giving away a FREE DAY OF TFS training at Algonquin College this Saturday!  Yes, you read that correctly, A FREE DAY OF TRAINING!!!!!  Yup, FREE!  FREE I SAY!

PS  If you need more incentive, I've seen one of the presenters present (Etienne Tremblay) and he's very exciting to watch!  Animated, keeps you interested, and VERY intelligent.  And ya, with a full day of source control, you'll need exciting presenters to keep you focused all day long!  Hey, I'm not saying source control's not important nor boring, but come on, it can be a bit dry.  Having an entertaining presenter REALLY does help the day go A LOT easier!

Now that you know how to get a free day of TFS, it's time to grab a coffee and get coding!
